As we expand our product portfolio and enterprise engagements, we are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to drive end-to-end architecture design, ensure technical excellence, and lead solution delivery across complex data and AI environments.

Position: Solution Architect (Full-time)

Role Overview

The Solution Architect will serve as the technical leader responsible for designing, validating, and guiding implementation of enterprise-grade solutions across DataMark’s data, AI, and analytics ecosystem.
You will work directly with clients, internal engineering teams, and product leadership to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

This role is ideal for a senior technologist with strong architectural thinking, cross-functional communication, and hands-on experience building cloud-based data and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Design & Governance

• Lead architecture design for data platforms, AI pipelines, BI systems, and cloud-native applications.

• Define solution blueprints, system diagrams, and integration frameworks.

• Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and compliance.

Client Engagement & Technical Leadership

• Work with enterprise clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical architectures.

• Present architectural options, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to executives and technical teams.

• Serve as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Oversight & Delivery

• Guide engineering teams during development, deployment, and optimization phases.

• Validate data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, ML workflows, and integration patterns.

• Perform architecture reviews, code assessments, and quality assurance for high-impact projects.

Innovation & Strategy

• Evaluate emerging technologies (LLMs, RAG, vector databases, streaming systems, lakehouse architectures).

• Drive the evolution of DataMark’s reference architecture and internal standards.

• Build reusable solution templates for forecasting, risk modeling, and financial analytics platforms.

Security, Compliance & Reliability

• Implement IAM policies, encryption practices, audit trails, and data governance frameworks.

• Ensure robustness in mission-critical workloads, including monitoring, observability, and failover strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• 6+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise systems, preferably in data/AI/analytics environments.

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern architecture patterns.

• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and APIs.

• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and system observability.

• Excellent communication and solution-selling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, banking, or risk analytics systems.

• Familiarity with ML deployment, model serving, feature stores, and MLOps workflows.

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka, or real-time data architectures.

• Certification in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP PCA, Azure Architect).

• Ability to lead technical workshops, scoping sessions, and architecture governance boards.
